Gettysburg Community Concert Association presents Incantare @ St. James Lutheran Church
Sep 17 @ 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm

Gettysburg Community Concert Association (GCCA) opens its 81st concert season at 7:30 pm on September 17, 2024, with a performance by Incantare, a consort of sackbuts (an early form of the trombone), violins, and keyboard. Incantare’s unique sound is the perfect medium for performing the beautiful works of the Baroque and Renaissance period. The concert will be held at St. James Lutheran Church, 109 York Street, Gettysburg, PA 17325.

Admission is $20 at the door, but free for anyone under 19 (under 13 with an adult) and college students with an ID. An annual membership subscription of $50 includes admission to the 4 concerts in Gettysburg as well as 10 more shows in Waynesboro (waynesboropaconcerts.com) and Hagerstown (hagerstowncommunityconcerts.org) through reciprocal concert association agreements. Music genres at partner concerts include classical, Broadway, jazz, country, pop, and folk. International Elvis Tribute Band The Spin-Outs will also join the two on stage for this LIVE MUSIC experience.

2024 Civil War Barn Dance @ Beech Springs Farm

Enjoy an evening of Civil War Music and dancing in an Historic Civil War era barn with the Susquehanna Travellers.
Civil War Barn Dance held by Daughters of Union Soldiers – Gettysburg.
Period dress is suggested, but not required. Admission includes Lite Fare. Event is held rain or shine. Only 100 tickets will be sold, so purchase your tickets early! FRANKLIN COUNTY — Learn more about Girl Scouts! @ Fendrick Library

Has your girl ever wanted to shoot a bow and arrow, make a campfire, or learn to code? She can do all this and more in Girl Scouts!

Girls from kindergarten through 12th grade and their caregivers are invited to this event to learn about joining a troop. Caregivers interested in volunteering or leading a troop can also ask questions and get the information they need.

A Volunteer Support Coordinator will share how Girl Scouts build courage, confidence, and character through badge work, service projects, and more. Girls will participate in group activities, make new friends, and have fun.

What to expect: Girl Scout staff on site to set up NEW Girl Scout troops! We’ll be there to answer all of your questions! Crafts provided for little ones as well as snacks and drinks. New Leader Swag available upon request!

The King of Queens @ The Capitol Theatre
