THE STATLER BROTHERS’ sons, Wil and Langdon Reid, team up as WILSON FAIRCHILD, carrying on their fathers’ Country Music Hall of Fame Legacy!
The Reid cousins, who seem more like brothers, have sung together professionally for over 15 years. They are energetic, enthusiastic, and above all, very, very talented. Along with their outstanding harmony, which is an inherent trademark from their fathers (Harold and Don Reid of THE STATLER BROTHERS), Wil and Langdon are prolific songwriters who have over 30 songs published and recorded. They can also play many different instruments, which makes an impressive portfolio and contributes to their unique style. When Wil and Langdon plug up their electric guitars and turn on their natural entertaining abilities, you can expect the best of the best with their musical delight!

Gettysburg Community Concert Association (GCCA) is pleased to present a performance by pianist Lorraine Min and violinist Terence Tam at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. Steinway Artist and critically acclaimed Canadian pianist Lorraine Min has dazzled audiences internationally with her poetic artistry and brilliant virtuosity. Consistently praised for his intense musicality and impressive technique, Canadian violinist Terence Tam has performed in Canada, the United States, Australia, Europe, and Japan as a recitalist and chamber musician. The program will include selections by Beethoven, Brahms, Bach, Wagner, and Kreisler. The pianist/violinist duo will also present student outreach programs in Adams-Hanover area schools.

The concert will be held at St. James Lutheran Church, 109 York Street, Gettysburg, PA 17325. Admission is $20 at the door, but free for GCCA members, college students with an ID, and anyone under 19 (under 13 with an adult). An annual membership subscription of $50 includes admission to GCCA concerts in Gettysburg as well as additional shows in Waynesboro (waynesboropaconcerts.com) and Hagerstown (hagerstowncommunityconcerts.org) through reciprocal concert association agreements. Music genres at partner concerts include classical, Broadway, jazz, country, pop, and folk.

“Finding Forever”: Don’t miss this inspiring story of resilience, connection, and unconditional love. A young couple felt called to care for orphans but didn’t anticipate the direction that would take – to Darien. By age 17, Darien had spent 2,189 days in foster care, endured two failed adoptions, and lived in a detention center before a simple “yes” changed everything. The Karenbauer family is coming to Chambersburg as the featured speakers at this National Adoption Month event sponsored by the Adoption Coalition of Franklin County and King Street Church. Breakfast is provided.

St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church in Buchanan Valley will hold its Thanksgiving (Turkey) Bingo on Monday, November 25, 2024. The Capitol Theatre, in partnership with The Gilmore-Hoerner Endowment, proudly presents what will be Lynn Lerew’s final directing performance with the Hagerstown Municipal Band right on the Capitol Theatre main stage! Joining Lynn and the band are two very talented special guests: Bob Eyer on the Moller Theatre Pipe Organ and vocalist Lisa Turchi! We’re honored to add this farewell show to our Theatre’s extensive history, and hope you join us in giving Lynn Lerew the farewell to retirement he deserves!
