Come and join the fun as Nancy J. Walker & Jef Savage lead an evening of Civil War Era Dances. No previous experience necessary. These are walking dances. Guest will learn & dance some of the most popular dances of the 1860’s in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Guests may dress in Civil War era attire or modern casual. For your SAFETY¬ Wear shoes that are safe to dance in – should be flexible with soles that can easily slide. Flat or small heels (no more than 1/2″). Please do NOT wear: flip flops, clogs, shoes with open backs, boots, high heels, or cleats on shoes. For Adults, & Age 10 thru 17 accompanied by an adult. Proceeds go to Discover DanceWorks (501c3) & St. John’s UCC Community Initiatives. Light refreshments will be provided.

On Sunday, August 13th at 7:00 pm, come see Eastern Gate & Nevin Crum Band a Country Gospel group. All concerts are FREE and held at the Chambersburg Memorial Park Kiwanis Bandshell. Welcoming a smoke-free environment, lawn chairs, blankets, foods, and non-alcoholic beverages!

Every Tuesday evening come to worship and hear Holy Spirit word of God that will restore hope and Life to your mind, body, spirit, and soul! The Chewsville Lions Club is sponsoring a Creative Memories Card Making Event. The cost is $20 and includes 6 cards which you will be taught how to make, a make-and-take kit, and light snacks and refreshments. Come to our event and learn how to make beautiful, handmade cards.
