Common Hour for Fall 2024 will be held concurrently with plenary sessions for Wilson’s FYS 100 First-Year Seminar course. One of the hallmarks of Wilson’s FYS course is the student work on their WISER projects—projects researching and exploring ideas of great interest to them. Each student’s WISER project culminates in a speech on their subjects. To help model both the end product of FYS and the passion and dedication to research and learning that is so integral to Wilson, Common Hour will be bringing faculty scholars, and our Orr Forum scholar, to FYS this year.
Additional dates for the Common Hour this fall are October 28 and November 11, 2024.
