Easter Eggstravaganza @ Marlowe Assembly of God

The community is invited to Marlowe Assembly of God, 9045 Williamsport Pike, Falling Waters, WV for the annual Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday, March 23rd, 2 – 4 pm, (rain date: Sunday, March 24th). There will be pony rides, moon bounce, obstacle course, face painting, cotton candy and more! The egg hunt will be open to 5th graders and younger and include prize eggs! Of course, the Easter Bunny will be there too! New for this year will be a 9 hole mini-golf course as well as “Blessings for the Children”. This is an opportunity for families to have a blessing prayed over their children. There will be something for everyone including Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck with specialty drinks for purchase! The Little Mermen the Ultimate Disney Tribute Band @ The Capitol Theatre

The Little Mermen, New York City’s premier Disney Tribute Band, was founded by singer-songwriter Alexis Babini with the goal of bringing Disney-fueled nostalgia and sing-a-longs to a generation that grew up on Disney, and never let it go! The Little Mermen play all the Disney hits (in costume), from The Jungle Book to The Lion King and even Frozen. Alongside Alexis, you’ll find a cast of talented musicians and Disney characters ready to rock their hearts out– and yours!

Concessions will be available for purchase at both performances. Both shows are open to all ages! The evening Disney After Dark Event also features adult Disney-themed drinks, beer, and wine available for purchase.

“Our group wants to thank these community-minded businesses for serving as book donation sites during this two-week book drive,” said Sue DeVos, the group’s President. “Their help makes our sale such a wonderful community event.” The group accepts new and used books, plus CDs (including audio books), DVDs, sheet music, puzzles, and board games, but not encyclopedias, textbooks, or phonograph records.

The sale itself will take place at the Fayetteville Elementary School, 8 E. Main St. in Fayetteville, on Friday, June 7, from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM; Saturday, June 8, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Sunday, June 9, from noon to 4:00 PM. Kegerreis Outdoor Advertising and GDC IT Solutions are sponsors of the sale, having provided substantial support for it.
